30 Weeks

Just ten weeks (or less!) left until we meet our little girl. Now I'm starting to get anxious. Our basement is in the midst of construction where we'll be moving our office so James can move into a new room. Once James is out of the nursery-that will become baby's room. We still haven't decided on a name yet. I haven't washed any clothes yet as I have no place to put them yet. And I have to unpack all the stuff I feel like I just packed away like bassinet, swing, and car seat. Oh-we'll also need the baby tub and I have to buy diapers too!

I've had to follow the diabetes 2000 calorie diet again. It's going ok. I'm bummed that Starbucks has new hot chocolate drinks out that I can't sample. Hopefully the drinks will be available through the new year so I can have some after the baby is here.

The doctor has said that she is head down already and it's looking like she will probably be bigger than James was at birth. When she moves and stretches I can feel that she is pretty big & long. She's also a stronger kicker than James! This time around I have the birth announcements all set. I just need to plug in a picture and the details and we'll be ready to go. Last time around Jamie's didn't get sent out until around 6 months after he was born.

The clock is ticking and we've got to get moving!

Oh Joanne. I can just feel the anticipation and excitement amist the short time that remains and so much that needs to get done. I know that she will have the perfect name whatever it may be. I am sending you a big old virtual hug.

Just to help you w/ baby name picking, apparently naming your child after a president is a hot trend right now. Madison, Kennedy and Reagan are top picks for girls. I wonder what makes those girls names and Jackson, Carter and Grant are for boys.
