Ink Your Kids!

No, I'm not talking about tattoos but the newest children's buzz item: Squid Soap. First I saw it reviewed over at Mums the Wurd, yesterday it was on my local news, and now it seems to be everywhere.

Apparently the top of the soap dispenser has a stamp that "inks" your child's hand. In order to get the stamp off, your child must wash their hands for at least 20 seconds. This is the amount of time (says the CDC) that it takes to remove germs.

While James is too young to appreciate the ink factor-I would love to try this soap. Everyone who reviews it says it smells great. I would imagine that the novelty factor must wear off after a few inks-but still, what a great way to get your kid interested in washing and a great way to check to see if your kid has actually washed their hands. "I still see ink! Go finish washing." According to their website, this stuff is sold everywhere. I'll have to look for it the next time I'm at Wal-Meezie.

*Oh, sorry for the lack of posts and for not responding to any e-mails or comments but I've had a wicked toothache since Saturday. Thankfully I see the dentist today.

And today is Bad Joke Wednesday.

I saw this on the program "I Want That." I thought it seemed pretty cool, too.

I love that show! I usually "want" a lot of stuff until I check out the website and see the actual prices. ;-P
