I've written previously about our CSA vegetables and these are purple beans we received as part of our share last week. I have never seen purple beans-but the cool part is that when they were cooked-they turned green! Sorry I'm a dum-dum and forgot to take an after photo.

I went to a Pampered Chef party last night, and the veggie tray had purple beans just like these. I'd never seen them before either. I'm sure she got them from a farm market.
How unusual, I have not come across these before
