He may not be smiling here, but James had a great time on his first boat ride. One of the employees at Jake's office is moving to Utah so Thursday was her official last day of work. After a well played prank on all the guys in the office (that she and the boss were in on) everyone changed into "play" clothes and headed down to the boss's cottage (actually a full blown house) on Honeoye Lake.
It was a nice little getaway where we barbequed, relaxed, and cruised the lake in the boss's boat. He was scared at first with the wind rushing at him, but when we turned James to face the back of the boat he relaxed and started checking out what was around the lake.

How on earth did you get him to wear that hat??
I think the initial-wind blowing in his face and motor noises startled him so much that he forgot it was on his head. A few times when we were swapping tube riders, he did try to pull it off. Trust me-I am shocked too as he HATES having hats on his head.

How old is your little guy? Love the reflection of hubby in your glasses, and quite amazed by the shot of that very young looking man behind your shoulder with very mature looking belly hair!!
My little guy is 14 months. And that "young" looking man behind me is actually, 48 or so.
