Some tidbits:
As a kid I used to draw all kinds of dresses I wanted my grandmother to make for me. Then as I got older I decided that it would be cool to design clothes.
I talked about being an astronaut forever when I was young. My mother said I was obsessed by it until I witnessed the Challenger explosion on television at school. My mom said I never talked about it again after that.
I've always been interested in art and thought maybe I'd go to school for architecture until I learned how much math and physics was involved. That was a real turn off.
I've gone to college and done work as an artist and hope to someday pursue a full time career as one. What's interesting is I never wanted to be a teacher but worked many years in the field.

I'm quite a bit older than you, so I remember the explosion in '68 that killed Gus Grissom and two others. I was somewhat shielded from it, but still knew something had happened. I can see why you'd stop aspiring to be one after the Challenger.
I love the tidbits informtion about you and your "want to be when grown up"...
So glad to see there someone who thought want to be social worker, I thought I'm alone in this ..*grin*.....we have common list..almost :)
Happy Ten on Tuesday!
