How funny that this five relates to my previous post.
Five on Friday/My Muse
1. What inspires you?
-Eveything! Other people's art & craft work, images, music, writing, fabric, flowers, photographs, people, family...
2. What blocks your creativity?
-My son. While he is a source of creativity he often prevents me from creating. For example, I used to participate in Illustration Friday-but don't get much of a chance now.
3. Do you do anything special to get your creative juices flowing?
-Not really. I do have several photo albums where I've stashed images, postcards and other items which inspire me. So I can look through there. Sometimes just looking at my art supplies makes me want to make something.
4. What time of day do you feel most inspired?
-It varies.
5. How do you like to express your creative energy?
-Any way I can. I find that lately my energy has been directed more in finding ways to entertain my son but I love drawing, painting, sewing, working with clay, writing and photography. When I can't do that, it may be in the way that I cook dinner or prepare a dessert. Sometime when I send out a letter, I embellish the envelope with drawings, stickers, or stamps. I try and do something creative everyday.

Your time to be creative will increase as the baby gets older. It's hard at first...but it does get better.
