Ferberiffic!

Ferber's method? For us it worked after only two nights of crying and the second night was no where near as bad as the first. Read Ferberger in case you missed. So far *knock on wood* Jamie is now sleeping through the night. I think we had one hiccup where he woke up at 2 a.m. but otherwise he goes to bed between 9-10 and sleeps until the next morning. The next morning meaning 6 or 7 am but since he's sleeping all night, I can deal with that. This morning he actually woke up at 5, but then went back to sleep until 8. Perfect! When I put him to bed, he usually rolls over onto his side and eventually falls asleep. If he does cry, it is only for a minute or two-but never more than 5. It is wonderful! (Hope I didn't jinx myself) Now if only I could get Jake to stop snoring.....

Congrats! Imagine the sleep you'll get. Actually, you don't have to imagine it. You'll be getting it. Me, I still have to imagine that sleep, cuz I'm still on the fence about whether to try Ferberizing.

So is everything still Ferberific in the Jensen home? You should post some "sleeping peacefully" photos. :)

I think I jinxed myself (kind of). Bedtime is great; naptime on the other hand has been a challenge since I wrote this post! However I am not complaining because I'd rather have these issues during the day than night or early morning.

Hey, I'm liking the new profile pic. I'm pretty sure I've seen it before, buried someplace in your blog, perhaps?

Thanks! Oh yeah. Maybe I did post it back in October. That other profile pic was about 2 years old.

Oh yeah...and if you think I'm going to photograph my peacefully, sleeping son at night, you're nuts! ;-)

I remember the adjustment period of mothering my first...it's tough. Enjoy the journey cause it goes so fast! I enjoyed reading your blog and I'll definitely be back. Your little peanut is adorable btw!
