F

I failed the Glucose test. Apparently acceptable blood sugar levels are anything below 140 and I scored a big, fat, 177. So that means this Wednesday from 8-11 you can find me at the nearest Quest Diagnostics Center for the 3 hour test.

Other than that, the baby is fine, heartbeat is strong at 155 bpm and I'm measuring right on schedule. This whole pregnancy I've only put on 16 lbs which she said is really good too. My next appointment is in 2 weeks when I'll be almost 30 weeks along.

that really stinks! I dreaded failing the glucose test, I can't imagine how much you are looking forward to the 3 hr test. :-(

I'm sorry you have to do the 3 hour test, but I made it through it when they had to test me, and found out I was hypoglycemic. It wasn't fun. It was tough b/c I don't like my blood being taken. Please let me know the results. It's something that then goes away once the baby is born, right? I'm wondering if I'm succesptible to it b/c of the hypoglycemia. ???
