Lately the kids have been tying their playsilks around their necks like capes and running around the house like caped crusaders. So when I saw this tutorial at Puking Pastilles, I thought I had to give it a try.

I dug through the material I had in the basement and found some felt and started working on the project today. I plan on giving one to each of the kids for Christmas. Here is how Jamie's is looking:



It has a few little flaws but not too bad considering my level of sewing experience. Now I just have to sew on the liner fabric and add some velcro. I hope he loves it!
