Reading this story always makes me tired and want to take a nap. How many times can you say "Henny Penny, Ducky Lucky, Turkey Lurkey, Goosey Loosey, Cocky Locky, Foxy Loxy" before you are tongue twisted?
And speaking of exhaustion, who knew that taking your kids to the circus could kick your butt? My inlaws wanted to go to the Shrine Circus so we decided to give it a shot. It was an ok experience. It doesn't compare to Barnum and Bailey but it was decent. There were some good acts like the trapeze artists and elephants. My bottom was sore from sitting on the bleachers for 2 1/2 hours and my back still hurts today even though we went on Friday. James made it the entire show even though he missed his nap. A few times it looked like he was going to fall asleep. I think it helped that grandma & grandpa bought him a blue light sword to hit people with.
I think we can probably wait a year or two to go back. It was too long and loud for me.
